Podcasts Delayed

September 29, 2008

Due to scheduling issues and a lack of certain resources, the After Hours video podcast has been delayed until January 2009.

Basically, in addition to other projects and schoolwork occupying my time, there is no set, no computer graphics, and until today there was no music.  The good news is that today I secured a license for the After Hours podcast music for 2009 (up to 12 episodes).  We’ll plan on doing an episode a month and the show will concentrate on lowering the barrier to entry to technology for the common person.  I watch and listen to quite a few tech podcasts and none of them get detailed enough for someone not familiar with technology to dive in.  We will seek to change that.

In the meantime, the subject of the now-cancelled first podcast that was supposed to air this month will become the topic of an upcoming blog post.  That’s right, I’ll be talking about MobileMe: what it does, what it is good for, how to get it up and running, and whether or not it is right for you.
