You may have noticed this weblog has been rather dormant lately. This is due to two issues: lack of time, and lack of interesting things to post. Today brings a small reprieve.

iPhone 3G Battery Time
November 12, 2008
Today was a rather busy day for my iPhone. As usual I checked my email and my RSS feeds from bed to get up to speed with the day (not to mention some Jelly Car). After I got up I took and placed several phone calls (yeah, it’s a phone too!) revolving around the upcoming trip South for a Patriots game. In addition, I used it to compile a materials list for a Home Depot run I had to make. This evening brought some more phone activity and a raft of text messaging (which, for me, is more than three). Toss in the usual miscellaneous usage and my total for the day was over seven hours. Did I mention there were no battery charges in between? Did I also mention that I have 3G enabled in eager anticipation of AT&T’s any-day-now rollout of the faster service? Despite all the people out there clamoring for more battery life, I think seven hours in a day is plenty.
