Now that the show 24 is filming on the East Coast, I have the opportunity of a lifetime!

Hollywood, Here I Come
April 1, 2009
Through one of those friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend deals, I found out that an upcoming episode of the show 24 is going to be filming in Boston (plot twist, anyone?) and will require a large crowd of people. I submitted my name to be an extra thinking there was no way I’d get in. Boy, was I wrong! I just got an email: next Monday I’ll be driving down to Boston to be an extra on 24 for a day! While the nature of the show makes it very unlikely that I’ll see any of the stars (since they are all still based in D.C. as of the last episode) and the fact that I’ll be an extra in a crowd of dozens makes it even more unlikely that I’ll be seen prominently on screen, I’m still very excited to have this opportunity. Oh, for those wondering… the “pay” is a free 24 jacket and a liability release form for me to sign. Still, it’s worth it…
