Almost March

It is one of my goals to upload pictures of Leah at least once a month (calendar, not rolling). With less than three hours to go in the month, it's high time I do so!

It’s simply amazing how much a child Leah’s age changes every month.  As I sifted through the nearly two hundred pictures we took this month (not counting pictures taken on our phones), I realized that not long ago Leah was having one solid meal a day and required a bath afterward.  Now we’re up to three solid meals a day, and while she still gets a bath each night before bedtime, it’s not a necessity anymore.  In the past month, she’s also dropped down to two naps a day and is now able to entertain herself for extended periods of time (long enough to get a chore or two done or even relax on the couch for a bit).  While I haven’t heard a “Da da” yet, “Ma ma” (sometimes “Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma…”) has been commonly heard around the house as of late.

In other news, my new office downstairs is finally nearing completion.  The initial round of mud and tape is done; after a couple of rounds of sanding and filling I’ll be able to paint, lay down the floor, and install the doors and trim.  That’s about all the news I have time for, unfortunately.  Enjoy the pictures (visit Leah’s album to see all the new ones) and check back next month for even more!
